I know I have been incredibly MIA lately... It's been due to being insanely busy during the lead up to Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. Now, it is officially here!! RAFW starts this coming Monday for the week... But for me, it started a few weeks ago when I arrived in Sydney. I've been spending my days at LARA INC. (producer of 20+ shows) working away as 'show producer' at model castings, fittings, schedules, contacts and etc. Tomorrow is a day full of technical rehearsals and making sure everyone (models, staff, designers, dressers, etc) knows what to do & where to go. Throughout the week I will be tweeting photos and messages trying to sum of the chaotic crazy-ness... So if you aren't already, follow me on twitter here. At the end of the week I will do a post summing it all up for you and my mom (hi momma!) who continuously complains that I don't update my blog enough.
But for now, here's some words of wisdom that inspire me to continue working in fashion as it is truly what I love to do. : )

Photoshoot 10,000 ft in the air? Why not.

Currently in the air, on my way to LA to catch my connecting flight to Sydney. It is blowing my mind that I can have wireless internet on the plane!

See you soon Sydney : )

I am literally walking out the door to head to the airport... Leaving to go back to Australia today and could not be more ready and excited! I have loved my time at home with all of my friends and wonderful family (and cooper!)... But it's time.

See you soon Oz.

So a few months ago, the beautiful girls at Elise Garland PR sent me Cassette Society's A/W look books... and I fell in love. The entire A/W1 and A/W2 look books seemed as though they were completely designed to my aesthetic and appeal. With 3/4 sleeves, knee-length skirts, faded colors, tie-dyes, and the ever-so-cool leather track pants, I was hooked.

Then, to my surprise, the beautiful Genevieve from EGPR sent me one of my favorite pieces all the way to me in America!! Absolute sweetest gesture and gift imaginable.

I am in love with this dress! The perfect sweatshirt-esque fabric, a comfy long sleeve that can easily be rolled up, and the most flattering (and my favorite) length skirt. I wore it out last weekend to see the Wailers and out for drinks afterward. Worn with my new Senso boots from Solestruck, it was the perfect rocker look.

I want to say a huge thank you to the amazing EGPR team, the beautiful Genevieve, and to Cassette Society for creating a range that I am pretty sure will end up in my wardrobe in it's entirety.

Been playing around with the items in my closet lately... Using things in ways they aren't orginaly meant for.
For example... A scarf for a belt.
